I’ll let you in on a little secret. When Jessica asked me to teach at DEFINE, my first thought was, “Ohhhh….ummm….hmmmmmm….” The easy and safe answer would have been “no.” I could have given her a long list of reasons why I couldn’t do it. But, in the same way I push myself to grow as an artist, I wanted to push myself outside my comfort zone, let go of all fear and doubt, and grab onto the opportunity to inspire other artists. I’m so happy I did. To be able to teach my students lessons I learned the hard way and to watch them grow in six short weeks was more rewarding than I can tell you. I had THEE best group of women in my first class and was sad to see our time together end. SO, I will be teaching “Through the Looking Glass” again in October and am so excited to be doing so!
